I completed the race, but there was a lot to learn from the experience. Here are my final thoughts on the journey. If you haven’t read the previous review Week 4-5.

Key Lessons Learned
Mental Over Physical
The path was tough, but it was more mental than physical. If you believe you can do it, you can.
Training Matters
The training was crucial. The long runs, the breathing techniques, the pacing strategies—they all mattered.
The Power of Company
Running with friends kept me motivated and made the experience enjoyable. Company makes all the difference.
Another Story
At the finish line, we met a grandfather aged 78—a retired professor who started running at 68. This was his 41st half marathon. He was a true inspiration, showing that age is just a number and it’s never too late to start something new.

Until next time, stay strong, don’t forget to smile !!! Ciao
